Krzysztof Kamiński President of the Alnea Group became the winner of the prestigious 2018 Vectors. Employers of the Republic of Poland appreciated the Alnea Group for the introduction of technologies that we could only see recently on science-fiction movies.
President of the Alien Group in a few words tells about his impressions from the development of Vectors 2018, company plans for the coming years and directions of development of automation of production processes in Poland.
Was the information about the allocation of Vectors 2018 a surprise for Alnea?
Definitely yes. Of course, we are aware of the potential of our company in the field of automation of production processes, but we did not expect to be awarded by Employers of the Republic of Poland. This year, a significant part of the awards focused on innovation and non-standard applications of Polish technical thought, also Alnea fits well into this category. On the other hand, the last year brought many different activities that may affect the perception of our company outside.
It is a huge honor for me personally that the prize, which among others are the Prime Minister Morawiecki or the President of PKO BP Zbigniew Jagiełło, this year has just hit me and Alnea. This shows the potential of this industry and the Alnea Group.
During the speeches, many people emphasized the importance of the crew, employees and clients?
Exactly. No serious company can function without an efficient team. Our employees are great engineers, programmers and robotics, thanks to whom we create great products. It is worth mentioning that the local market is often used by employees, often graduates of the University of Warmia and Mazury. On the other hand, enterprises that have decided to cooperate with us and have started the automation of processes increase production, expand employment, are more prepared for the changes that will bring the coming years. As Alnea, we believe that automation and robotization is the basis that will definitely increase the competitiveness of Polish companies on the domestic market, but also in the world.
What are Alne’s plans for the coming years?
We work intensively in the area of research and development. We have created a unique robot positioning system on a global scale, so-called Eye for the robot – Horus Vision System. We estimate that when implementing robotics using our customer savings system, they can reach up to 50% of implementation costs.
The first edition of the “Automation and Robotization of Industry” conference was a success. We come to new companies thanks to run lectures and sponsors, which is why there is a huge need for the next edition, especially in our region. The event will probably take place in June 2019 in Olsztyn.
It will be important to expand the technical base thanks to the support of the Warmia and Mazury Special Economic Zone. We have started cooperation with new producers, for example the Omron brand, and we have initiated the implementation of new EU projects.
Certainly we will continue educational and social activities. The Alnea Group supports children and youth, sponsors local and sports events and cultural events. The Laboratory program is of great importance, attracting more and more entrepreneurs. The mission of Corporate Social Responsibility is extremely important for the company.
What is necessary for the development of industrial integrators?
I will not “discover America” if I say that the basis for the development of companies dealing in robotics is money. In addition to the standard, everyday work and execution of orders, we always look further. We want to grow, that is why Alnea is open to new business partners and investors who will help to make expansion even more dynamic.
One can not forget about media support. At present, people must be informed about innovative activities. In addition, after the Vectors 2018 award, relations were established, among others, at Polish Radio. Our activities are noticed by local media – Gazeta Olsztyńska, GO TV, Congress of the Future, and you can read about Alnea in industry magazines. Articles bring people to the profiles of the most innovative companies in Poland, and it is very important that we are aware of what is happening in the home industry.
